Hi there! My name is Charlie. I'm a transgender man who has lived his entire life in Texas. I've had loose plans to move for years, with the goal to get me living with my partner of many years, but money remains a major obstacle. With the results of the recent election, I am feeling the pressure more than ever to get out of Texas and to a place where I can live my life in relative peace and safety. I'm very nervous about asking for help, but trying to go it alone is proving to be more than I can handle—financially and in terms of my mental health.
