Help a TSTC Student Graduate

TSTC Alumni and Power Friends,
Education is a long and grueling road, not to mention sometimes rough. Stepping into your first semester of trade school or college takes a lot of courage and a leap of faith; most of us have been there, some more recent than others. We do it for different reasons, but ultimately we hope to improve ourselves, our lives and the lives of those we love.
Today I offer you the opportunity to help a fellow student named Sean Spear, who is so close to completing his journey but is now at risk of not passing the finish line. Several of us have met Sean during our Subject Matter Expert talks at TSTC in Abilene. When his instructors at TSTC reached out to me and asked if there was anything we could do to help, I knew that helping Sean was a worthy cause. One of his instructors, Kevin Staton, wanted me to know that "Sean works extra hard to help improve himself, [he] comes to the lab even if he is not scheduled to attend school that day," and Sean says, "I want to go that extra mile and learn all I can. I like to come in and do the extra lab work to make sure I am prepared." Staton said that shows Spear's commitment to completing the program, and I agree.
If you can help, we want to raise enough to send Sean back to school this semester so that he can join the rest of us in our industry. Let's reach out a hand and pull him through the rest of the way.
Thank you,
Brandon Bozarth
