Help a US Army Veteran from losing home
Needing to raise roughly $855 to keep the cabin that I am renting. It was a choice of prolonging another 30 days till eviction or getting a car so I could get back to work. My wife was fooled into going to Ft. Worth to help open new Dairy Queen stores there, and the Franchisee that got her to sign a one year contract to help him did not have the store ready for her to manage (suppose to be no more than 30 days), and paid her $1000 a month plus uber fees to get back and forth(3 months later store opened). Placed her with a sex offender to live in the mans mother in law quarters behind his house. We moved her out of that situation, but at the cost of losing the car. We lost the car. Now I am trying to keep my place here since she is living with a friend in a small apartment. I have been out of work for two weeks waiting on tax return to come in to get car and get back to work to get rent caught up. Just needing a little help since I have applied through the Disabled American Veterans group for PenFund(??) and after a week was finally told I was denied. I have called all around the Houston area to get help and no one can help in Montgomery County.
This fund will be used to pay the rent that I am behind of $855 to the Landlord.
I have served my country in the US Army and have been a volunteer fire fighter in Texas for over 10 years serving and helping the citizens of Texas. Now I am asking for assistance to keep my home and my sanity since I suffer from PTSD. I am transparent and will provide any info needed to anyone who asks.
This fund will help keep a home available to my wife to come home to
from Ft. Worth.
Thank you and God Bless!
