Help a Vet Student in Need of Transportation in Arizona!

Hi everyone! My name is Melanie Santiago and I’m currently a student at U of A College of Veterinary Medicine. As you may know, Arizona is not exactly the most walkable place, especially with temperatures frequently soaring above 100°F.

With the demands of school, clinical rotations, and farm work, reliable transportation is crucial for me to stay on top of my studies and attend all necessary sessions. Unfortunately, the extreme heat and long distances make walking or biking impractical and unsafe.

I’m raising $5,000 to purchase a reliable used car that will help me navigate my daily routine. This car will allow me to commute safely between classes, clinics, and work without risking heat exhaustion or wasting hundreds on Uber or Lyft.
