Help a Veteran Couple with IVF

Hi everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering helping us on our journey to start a family. We are both US veterans who crossed paths in Afghanistan back in 2009. Our dedication and service led us to be Purple Heart recipients with combat badges. However, our journey took an unexpected turn when my husband was diagnosed with hairy cell leukemia during his deployment in 2011. This unfortunate circumstance led to his medical retirement from the army. Despite the challenges we've faced, he has found solace and passion in his new career as a chef, where he takes joy in cooking for others. As for me, I am a nurse practitioner, providing care at a cancer center in Fresno, CA.

For the past 15 years, we have been striving to conceive naturally, exploring various remedies including IUI. However, our pursuit has led us to our last option, which is IVF. The cost of IVF is a significant burden, ranging from 30 to 60 thousand dollars, and unfortunately, our insurance does not cover this expense. Any form of assistance, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. The funds raised here will directly contribute towards our medical bills for IVF. We have chosen Dr. Ingrid Rhodi from Pacific Fertility Center LA to guide us on this emotional journey.
