Support a Veteran’s Journey to Honor His Late Mother, Lula J

Dear friends,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help during this difficult time. My mother-in-law, Lula Mae Jones, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, recently passed away. Her funeral will be held in Detroit, and we are working to ensure my husband, a proud veteran, can be there to honor and lay his mother to rest.

Currently, he is between jobs, and the cost of traveling from Texas to Detroit is more than we can manage alone. As a devoted son, he needs to say his final goodbye to the woman who gave him so much love and guidance throughout his life.

We hope to raise funds to cover his travel expenses, including transportation, lodging, and any additional costs necessary to make this journey possible. Your generosity will allow my husband to honor his mother’s memory and be present for his family during this challenging time.
