Help a Veteran save their home
Donation protected
My friend Kirsten and her fiance a Veteran Marine Aaron who served from 2006-2010 purchased their first home in October 2015 with their hard earned life savings with a VA loan. VA requires the seller to do a pest inspection prior to the loan being approved. Long story short the sellers hired a pest inspector who did not have a valid license with the state and missed $160,000 worth of termite damage and her home is literally disintegrating from the foundation up. They have tried to get help from VA, Attorney's, the inspector, sellers, insurance company, etc. and it's all falling on deaf ears - they have all recommended this family walk away and let the bank take the home back. How do you tell their 4 year old daughter that she won't have a home anymore or yard to play in? If they give this home back to the bank, they will lose the money they saved to buy it and won't be able to buy another home - and where will they live? I am asking for all that can contribute money to help get their home back to liveable condition or if you can volunteer time and work to help - I am sure anything that we can all pitch in they would be so thankful.
