Help a Vietnam Vet Get a Handicap Vehicle
Donation protected
Our truck was stolen between Saturday night and Easter Sunday morning. I was able to get another ride to search for my truck in the neighborhood. There were still no signs of it.
The timing is getting crucial, as my father needs urgent transportation to stroke and seizure follow-up appointments.
My father is a Vietnam veteran, who has been paralyzed from a stroke for almost 2 years. He was recently released from a nursing rehabilitation facility on April 5th, after suffering a secondary seizure.
We’ve poured thousands of dollars to modify my vehicle to accommodate my father. The American Veterans Society also installed the lift for us be able to transport him to his hospital/doctor appointments without having to rely on others or public transportation. All of this was taken when my truck was stolen overnight.
We thank you for any amount that you are able to donate, as this is a pertinent time for my father’s rehab from the stroke and seizures. He’s given us his all and we’re trying to give him everything he deserves.
