Help "A Waste Epiphany" after Keilewerf fire
Donation protected
This morning, we woke up to the devastating news that Keilewerf was entirely up in flames. We, as well as over 40 other entrepeneurs, have lost everything.
Keilewerf started as an empty warehouse back in 2014 and has since then been filled up with drive for creativity. It became the place for furniture makers, artists, builders, musicians and other entrepreneurial talents to imagine, collaborate and create wonderful products and pieces.
Our design studio A Waste Epiphany, was one of the newest members at Keilewerf. AWE was focused on upcycling demolition waste into high-end furniture and surfaces, with a mission to reduce the environmental impact of the construction industry.
Today, we have not only lost our workplace, but also all our tools, equipment, projects and finished products. Because this building was listed for demolition, we could not insure it.
We hope to start rebuilding our business soon. For this we have started a GoFundMe and hope we can begin building up from the support received. We appreciate any form of help in advance.
