Help a widow with young children
Donation protected
A group of friends is reaching out to all the generous people here to seek help for our school friend Hareem who tragically lost her husband due to a sudden heart attack. Residing in Jeddah KSA, since the start of covid 19 pandemic both Hareem and her husband Asif lost their jobs. This resulted in their work permits being canceled. Due to financial difficulties, they were unable to pay the dependent taxes imposed by the Saudi government. They ended up in a difficult situation where they could neither leave the country unless they paid their dues nor could they stay in Jeddah and work due to the canceled work permit.
On 23 Oct 2021 Hareem's husband suffered a fatal heart attack. This impossible situation leaves Hareem alone with her 2 sons ages 18 and 12 and a daughter ages 10. Just a month later Hareem lost her father as well. After losing two of her strongest pillars her husband and her father Hareem is struggling to get financial stability in her life.
Hareem has been doing odd jobs to support her family and save as much money as she can to renew her work permit. She is "Zakat Eligible".
The following supporting documents have been provided to support this cause:
1/ death certificate of her husband.
2/ The printout from the local authority ( abshar) account shows the due amount for dependant tax.
3/ copies of expired id cards or iqama of Hareem and her children.
Allah, the Exalted, says, ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you."
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
Hareem use to work as a teacher and is extremely passionate about her profession. Please help Hareem get her iqama (work permit) renewed so she can resume working and support her three children.
