My name is Chinasa and I have been into music for a little over 6 years now. I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, however, I moved to Nigeria with my family when I was 16, in 2016, to learn more about my roots and heritage and whatnot. Because of this very sudden transition, I’ve been forced to put my music on hold, which honestly has played a very detrimental role in my mental health.
I love music. Making music, listening to music, I love it. Music is therapy for me.
I started out making music just before i became a freshman in high school. Up until then, I really didn’t feel like I fit in anywhere, felt like I had no real identity to be honest. I didn’t really know where I was going to end up. Until I started listening to and eventually going on to make my own music.
So that’s basically the reason I wanted to make this GoFundMe. If I’m being real with you, I’m not exactly the type of person that will ask for help too often but, I see all my friends taking their music and/or other hobbies and passions to the next level and I don’t want to be left behind.
Thank you for donating and/or sharing on any social media platform. Any help is appreciated.
