Help a young role model stay in school!

I am a teacher at Oak Park and River Forest high school in Oak Park, IL. In my nearly decade of teaching, I occasionally come across truly inspirational young men, women, or they that engage their school commUNITY in a transformational way. Bryant is one of those individuals who I came to know and love during his 4 years at the high school. Whenever I needed help or someone else needed help in the commUNITY, Bryant was there and now I am attempting to be there for him. We all know how difficult it can be to remain in college due to the ridiculously high costs and dwindling institutional supports that exists. Bryant is doing extremely well in college and is looking to continue his education. If you could donate $1, $2, or $5 dollars it will all help to make a difference.

Hi, my name is Bryant Allen and I am a former student of Oak Park and River Forest High School. Growing up my parents were not always financially stable as they were living off paycheck to pay check just so I can obtain my education in high school. This really helped me as I passed all four years of highschool with a 3.5 gpa. I am a current student at Western Illinois University and my first semester was really good! But I want to continue my education there as a Exercise Science major. My parents couldn’t afford to pay for my semester at Western and I couldn’t register. I would need to raise $3,217.29 by the end of January or early February. That is the latest I can register and get into classes. This would be very helpful to my parents and I!
