Help a Young Survivor Recover from Gun Violence

It was October 13 around 11-12 am at night, and yes, I know that's not perfect to be out, but I was outside getting my PlayStation and some clothes because I just moved to my baby mother's house. There was a man who usually stalks her I believe I’m not sure (because she said there was already arguments between her and the neighbors),and was upset with me. As I tried to defuse the situation, it got worse and worse. He pulled a gun out on me. I was scared for my life; I didn't know what to do, what to say, or anything, so I just decided to call 911. As I called 911, he started calling me 'snitches' and saying, 'You telling on your own kind, you should be ashamed of yourself,' and more. His mother-in-law, I believe, was telling him to shoot and fight. I'm only 19; I just wanted to play my game. He looked about 27 and up. As I was still on the phone with 911, I told him that, but he just gave no remorse and pointed the gun my way, close to my face. It was probably bad to say I'm on the phone with 911, but she helped me stay alive. Thank you, Mrs. Lory, 911 operator. As I was listening to the instructions of the operator, I believe he got mad because I didn't entertain the temptation. I got in my car as she told me to and was trying to drive away, but as I was leaving, that's when he shot at me. The bullet was centimeters away from my heart and main artery. I'm blessed to be alive but feel so ashamed. Why did it go like that? Just why? Why did he want to shoot me? Why did he want to kill me? Is it because I called 911? The detectives are looking for him now, and I'm still on the tubes. Hopefully, the medical bill isn't too much. I just ask for a little help. We can't find the suspect, but justice will be served one way or another. If anyone ever has to go through something like this, just know Jesus is on your side, and I am too. We should be together, not fight and argue or kill.
