Help Aaron & Dani

We're asking for help for one of our own. Let's rally like UKC does!
Our very giving friend, Aaron Littlejohn, is facing an unimaginable journey as he will soon have part of his leg amputated. About 20 years ago, Aaron was in a horrible motorcycle accident and shattered his ankle. He had pins and screws put in to hold his ankle in place, but his ankle was never straight. He's put his pain aside many times to help others and work through it like his dad taught him. Earlier this year, he was able to get the pins and screws replaced hoping that he would be celebrating a more normal, pain free life. That drastically changed on September 22, his birthday of all days, when doctors determined that he suffered another bone break and had a deep infection. Aaron was given two options: up to two immobile years that might possibly clear up the infection, or amputation and the hope of returning to normalcy.
While most would panic, this guy knew the second option was best for him to get up and going the quickest. They say you can't keep a good man down and most of us know there's no keeping Aaron down.
Aaron has been a dedicated member of the Moose and Eagles organizations and has been a huge part of his communities for over 20 years.
In addition to Aaron's surgery, Dani is also having shoulder surgery in November.
Please give what you can to help ease their burdens. Both of them are going to experience lost wages, medical bills and loss of independence. You can give through this page, or directly to the Aaron Littlejohn Benefit account at Umpqua Bank.
There will be a spaghetti dinner and auction at the Roslyn Eagles at 6pm on November 5th. Donated auction items are needed. All are welcomed.
