Help Aaron Kelly with Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Janie and I'm fundraising for my son-in-law.

Over 16 years ago, Aaron was involved in a road rage incident on his way home from work one night in Dallas. While attempting to get off his motorcycle to defend himself, he was tackled into the pavement, resulting in breaking his clavicle rather badly. He went to Parkland hospital in Dallas where he was given the bare minimum treatment and sent on his way. All these years later, he has now reached a point where he absolutely MUST have surgery ASAP to repair the damage. It’s severe enough that they had him scheduled within 2 1/2 weeks of seeing the doctor! It did not heal properly at all. It’s still in separate pieces and he has developed bone spurs. One of the biggest spurs is in a dangerous space- right where a bundle of nerves sits and the subclavian artery runs. This surgery will be delicate, but they have found an excellent surgeon so I know he will be in good hands. It’s imperative he has this surgery ASAP- he is now experiencing nerve issues, including pain and weakness, in that arm and it will only get worse if he doesn't get it fixed now. Aaron has good insurance, but he still has a copay which is going to wipe him and his family out financially. We are hoping to raise just enough to keep them afloat until he is able to return to work. Please help if you are able! Thank you
