Help Aaron Rebuild and Restart

Donation protected

Early Wednesday morning, May 20th, Midland county encountered catastrophic damage after multiple dam failures caused the flooding of multiple lakes and rivers into the surrounding areas. The village of Sanford was devastated as it sits directly in front of the Sanford dam. My brother Aaron, a National guard veteran who served a tour in Afghanistan has suffered an enormous loss. His house took on 5 feet of forceful river and lake water during this flooding. He was unable to assess damage until Thursday afternoon when portions of the area were finally accessible. Once inside he was able to see the level of loss and destruction that took place. Not only did he lose all of his belongings, but his home is in dire need of reconstruction and repair. He has been working hard along with family to remove ruined belongings and muck out all of the mud left behind. Your donations will help with basic necessities, cleaning and reconstruction efforts. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for any way that you are able to help, whether it is monetary donations, clothing and home needs or the sharing of this page.
