Help Aaron say goodbye to his mom

Hello, my name is Kristie Bostick and my husband Aaron and I need your help. We are in desperate need to get to New York as soon as possible.

Aaron's mother has been in the hospital almost a year. She had a stroke and because she was unable to breathe on her own, she was put on a ventilator. On two different occasions mom was transferred to a lower level of care, but both times she had to go back to the hospital. There have been attempts to wean her off the ventilator, but it just couldn't be done. She has congestive heart failure, and the doctors have recommended she go to hospice. Mom will be given medication and be comfortable, then she will be taken off the ventilator.

Because of our financial situation, we have only been able to go see her once since she's been in the hospital. Aaron needs to be with his mom, and we have to try to get there. We need help so we can book tickets on the Amtrack round-trip, and help with money for hotels, food and transportation. Without this help, Aaron won't be able to say goodbye to his mom.

We are having a hard time making ends meet as it is, we have two very disabled children at home, and two more with their own set of challenges. Three out of 4 of our kids have low functioning autism. They require a high level of care, and in the event we have to have some help, that too may require a babysitter because we have very few options in the way of help with our kids.
