Help Aaron support the Garhwal EM School in India!

Hello I am Aaron!

I'm a part-time MSc student at Anglia Ruskin University who has volunteered to take part in the 'Sustainable Sainji' International Community Experience Initiative run by the university every year. As part of this, I am challenged to raise a minimum of £200 to contribute towards improving the Garhwal English Medium School in the Indian Himalayas, who will be accommodating our team for two weeks.

The school is a not-for-profit organisation that supports children mostly from poor families where in most cases their parents have not completed education themselves. Its aims to provide the children in the area with the skills, knowledge and confidence that will allow them to realise their full potential. For every £50 raised I will cold plunge/'swim' in very cold February waters (see example). I will also be recording my trip through my photography, sketches and written thoughts, so please share your email with me if you wish to be kept updated on the trip itself, as well as the plunging challenge!
