Help Aaron Ward with housing for cancer treatment

Hi, I'm Aaron's wife Melissa and I'm raising funds for housing while Aaron is receiving treatment for cancer in Indy.

As most of you know, Aaron was diagnosed with unresectable paranasal squamous cell carcinoma back in late January and has already had 3 rounds of chemo and immunotherapy. He is scheduled to start more chemo and radiation on July 17th and Aaron and I will need to stay in Indianapolis for the full 7 weeks of treatment as his radiation will be Monday through Friday. We had been traveling back and forth (from Valpo to Indy) to all his appointments for CT/PET scans, biopsies, chemo, etc., but now it’s not feasible since his radiation will be done daily.

The cancer center initially said they would provide housing during Aaron’s radiation, but we were notified Friday that it is no longer available. We have been struggling financially for several months since Aaron has been unable to work since mid-January. Our incredible family, friends and coworkers have been keeping us afloat which makes this even more difficult because we need to ask for help paying for housing during Aaron’s treatment. Because we were given such short notice, the only option is to stay in a hotel. We are hoping to raise $5,000 to cover housing for the 7 weeks Aaron and I will be in Indy.
