Help Abbie and her family during this tragic loss

A pregnancy and birth of a child are the most magical moments for any mother. Sadly, these happy moments were cut short and taken away from our dear friend Abbie. They have replaced with disbelief and utter sadness.

My name is Aleksandra, and I along with my co-workers at Day kimball hospital are raising money for our beloved friend Abbie Bragdon.  Abbie is an amazing young woman, co-worker, and mother. Abbie and her boyfriend Cameron Major, have a beautiful 1 and 1/2-year-old named Magnolia. Everyone who has met Abbie, is quickly pulled in by her warm smile and loving calm nature. She is truly one of a kind. Shes one of the hardest working girls I've ever known. Even thru hard times, she is always sweet and smiling to those around her. Abbie loves being a mother and she was so excited to find out that she and Cameron would be having a baby boy in April 2024. She had just entered her third trimester and was contemplating names and counting down the weeks until she would get to see and hold her baby boy for the first time.

On February 26, 2024, Abbie was involved in a life changing event. She was about to pull into a patients house when she was violently rear eneded and her car was thrown into a tree. She was rushed to the hospital and was forced to have an emergency C-section that night. Luca Wade Major was born at 9:51 weighing 4 lbs at just 31 weeks. He had complications being so early and suffered a brain bleed from the collision. We are so heart broken to say that tragically, Luca passed away on February 28, 2024.

These funds will be used to help with burial expenses for precious Luca, as well as other financial burdens while Abbie heals physically and her and her family cope with this tragic loss. After laying her sweet baby to rest, we hope this will help her be able to stay home with her beautiful daughter Magnolia for an extended amount of time as well. Every little bit can help.
