Help Abbie get her treatment in London

Abbie is a remarkable individual who has faced unimaginable challenges as a consequence of COVID-19. Abbie is battling Fowlers Syndrome and Intestinal Failure, conditions that have deeply impacted her life and well-being. After exhausting all available NHS options in the North East, Abbie now urgently requires private treatment in London to regain her health, and we need your help to make it possible.
Fowlers syndrome is a rare, urinary tract disease, meaning that Abbie is unable to pass urine, which leads to unbearable pain. Abbie has previously had major surgery to try and improve her quality of life, however this was not successful, and further complications (including intestinal failure meaning Abbie is on TPN at home) have occurred. She has spent over 350days in hospital over the last three years.
Abbie and her husband, Mark's strength, resilience and positivity have been unwavering throughout her battle, but she now needs our help to access vital treatment privately in London.
Abbie's journey has been one of immense courage and perseverance. Despite the severe pain and uncertainty she faces daily, she remains an inspiration to everyone who knows her. However, having explored every avenue available within the NHS in the North East, Abbie's doctors have recommended a specialized treatment in London that holds the promise of a better quality of life. Unfortunately, this private treatment comes with significant costs.
By contributing to Abbie's GoFundMe campaign, you will be providing her with a beacon of hope. Your generous donations will be utilized to cover the expenses of treatment, travel, accommodation, and necessary medical support during her time in London. By easing the financial strain, we can ensure Abbie focuses solely on her health and healing.
Abbie's determination to embrace life fully, despite her condition, is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
By supporting Abbie, we believe that our collective efforts can make a tremendous impact. The power of community is immeasurable, and we are confident that with your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and offer Abbie the chance to access the treatment that could be life-changing.
