Help Abby Attend Ballet West Summer Intensive

Hi, my name is Abigail and I'm 19 years old. I've been a dancing since I was 3, but focused on becoming a professional ballet dancer when I was 12. I usually train over 20+ hours a week.

Every summer I do a summer intensive for ballet to help me grow not only as a dancer but as a person. Its long intensive days, with a ton of different styles of dance to help me grow. Here are places I've been too...

In 2020, my dad passed away. He was the main provider financially.

Since he isn't here Im paying everything on my own. I teach dance 4 days a week, I nanny for a few different families. I pay for me to dance, plus everything I need like pointe shoes, second skin squares, tape, leos, costumes, performance/competition fees. As well as doing college at BYU Pathway. Overall, it does get pricey.

This year I have had the opportunity to go to Salt Lake City to compete at YAGP and will have the opportunity to compete at Icon Dance Awards in March 2023.

With Summer its more expensive. This year I'm hoping to go away for the summer. I'm still auditioning for many different summer intensives and companies. I have got accepted to Ellison Ballet School, Carolina Ballet, and Ballet West. Which Ballet West has been my dream company since I was little. I went there for the Summer in 2020 and loved it.
