Help Abby Beat Breast Cancer

Thank you for making your way to our page to support Abby - a loving wife to Tom, dedicated mother to her two-year-old son TJ, and devoted friend to many. Those of us who have had the pleasure of knowing her can easily say she is one of the most caring and kindest people.

After receiving a recent mammogram followed by countless numbers of biopsies and scans, Abby received a devastating diagnosis that would forever change her life. On August 4, 2023, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer that tested positive for estrogen receptors and progesterone receptors and traveled to her lymph nodes - meaning she has an aggressive, fast-growing form of breast cancer. Her team of doctors quickly moved to start her on an intense treatment plan, which will immediately begin with a bilateral mastectomy followed by many months of chemotherapy, reconstructive surgery, and a long course of radiation in the months to come. And even as Abby completes her treatment plan, the path forward involves ongoing medical costs as she will need to address her medical needs periodically.

Despite this daunting journey ahead, Abby has been incredibly transparent, resilient, and positive. However, there is no denying that this will inevitably result in a financial and emotional toll on her and her family. If you know Abby, you know she is one of the first to extend a hand to those in need, and seeking help is incredibly foreign and brave of her.

Now, Abby’s family and friends are supporting her through this fight by not only addressing the unpredictable financial implications of the treatment itself but also helping her and Tom ensure TJ’s daycare and everyday essentials, like groceries, are covered. We hope that our contributions - large or small - will help alleviate the mounting financial burden on Abby’s treatment and associated expenses.
