Help Abdallah Khader and his family survive the Gaza war

Hello everyone.

My name is Abdullah Khader. I am from Palestine and live in Gaza.

I can't believe what has happened to me and my family. Everything is destroyed, and I don't know if I can remember my ambitions, goals, and the university I love more than anything else. The war destroyed everything, including my studies. I did everything to be successful.

Honestly, I no longer care about studying or my goals because all I and my family think about is being safe, getting rid of this crazy war, and escaping this miserable life. The past few months have been filled with death, fear, and displacement. It was like a nightmare that destroyed our hope, memories, and homes. We never expected to reach such difficult times. We love our country, we love our lives, but the essence of life has disappeared.

My family consists of 13 members, including me, my two brothers, their wives, and their children. We used to gather in our beautiful home and enjoy every moment. Each one of us did our best and worked hard to achieve our goals, help each other, and build our future step by step.

Everything changed on October 7th. After three weeks of war, we had to leave our home and escape the unbelievable random rockets. We left our home carrying a few clothes and personal belongings and took refuge in Rafah, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

My wonderful family, especially my mother, who never hesitates to support us mentally and be by my side when I need her, always creates strength from weakness, cooks for us from the rare available food, and always gathers us even in the hardest times.

Every day and every moment, we wish for the war, genocide, oppression, and violations to end. But fear still rules the situation and goes beyond our control, making things worse. So, I have to do anything just to move from here and protect my family, but we can't do this and leave, as we have nothing left to travel abroad.

It was never easy to ask for help, but we have no other choice. So from the bottom of my heart, I kindly ask you to help us as much as you can in this urgent and dangerous situation. We will be extremely grateful if you help us get out of this miserable life because, with your help, we can register all my family members and leave together without worrying about anyone staying behind in Gaza. We kindly ask you to share this fundraising campaign with anyone you know to reach more people before it ends. We have seen the importance of sharing it with friends and families, even with someone you don't know; ask them to do a favor, if you can't participate yourself.

Family Details and Financial Requirements

Our family consists of 13 members:

- 5 adults × $5,000 = $25,000

- 8 children × $2,500 = $20,000

*Total = $45,000*

In addition to travel costs, we need funds to secure temporary housing and basic necessities once they leave Gaza. Therefore, we aim to raise a total of *$50,000* to cover these immediate and urgent needs.

Donations will be used to:

- Cover the costs of getting all family members out of Gaza.

- Secure temporary housing and provide basic necessities such as food, water, and medical supplies once they leave.

- Help cover initial resettlement expenses until we can find more sustainable solutions.
