Help Abdirashid Hassan (Abdirashid Adare) family

Hi my name is Habiba Shurie and I started this Go Fund Me account to ease the burden of the family of Abdirashid Hassan also known Abdirashid Adare.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

It is with great sadness and heaviest of hearts to found out the sudden passing of Abdirashid Hassan also known Abdirashid Adare on November 17, 2021. Abdirashid Hassan was a father, husband, brother, son, friend and a vital community member. He leaves behind his wife and 5 children, whom he was the only provider.

We lost our dear beloved brother Abdirashid. Abdirashid brought to light and joy to all those he encountered; Abdirashid was a pillar in our community, a devoted father of five children, and a sensitive and loving husband to his beloved wife, Ifrah. He was loved by the community. Helped his siblings and extended family.

Abdirashid's presence will undoubtedly be missed. And we put this crowdfunding in place to support his five children and wife, with their basic needs. The five children and their mother are currently struggling with the loss of Abdirashid and the funding will support:

Five children between the ages of 22 – 13 years old and their mother who lives with a long-term disability that Abdirashid left behind; their housing expenses, food, clothing, medical expenses, school expenses and more.

Abdirashid donated to the mosque and any other causes brought to his attention. He was somebody who was always smiling and worked just as hard to put a smile on others faces. He was hardworking and loved his job and those he worked with. He was a great father and husband. He would stop on the side of the street to help an elderly person cross.

He would pay for the person behind him in the Tim Hortons line. Whether they were small or large acts of kindness, Abdirashid never shied away.

He was a kind of soul who helped everyone in need. He went out of his way to pay it forward, and now his loved ones are in desperate need. They are left with numerous healthcare bills, funeral costs, and other financial burdens they were not expecting.
