Help Abeer and her family survive the genocide in Gaza.

Hello, I am Abeir Hassan from Gaza. I am reaching out to share the immense hardship we are facing. I am the youngest of my siblings and live with my 60-year-old mother, who struggles with mobility and chronic hypertension, and my 70-year-old father, both of whom need medical and physical care.

The ongoing conflict has exhausted us young people, and the impact on the elderly is even more severe. Our home was targeted by incendiary missiles, resulting in the complete destruction and burning of my room. I lost everything, including my clothes, furniture, and personal computer, which I used for learning and freelancing to support my family.

For seven months now, I have been without work or income. I plead for your help to support me and my parents to survive and rebuild what was destroyed, so we can regain some semblance of our previous life.

I am not alone in this suffering. I have three younger brothers and two married sisters with children. After our home was destroyed and our belongings stolen, we fled to the south. The occupation forces had thrown firebombs at our house, leaving nothing but ashes. Thankfully, my family survived.

However, our displacement was a harsh journey. My uncle’s house was raided, doors were blown down, and my young brothers were beaten and tortured. Tragically, my uncles were executed in front of them. I used to work for a company to support my family, but now, with our source of income gone, we are left with nothing.

The occupation has devastated Gaza, destroying quarantine centers, universities, schools, hospitals, shops, homes, and infrastructure. There is no water, electricity, or sewage system. Gaza has become a ghost town, uninhabitable even for animals.

I am asking for your help to provide food, medications, and rebuild our home. Your support is our only hope to survive this challenging period. We wish for a peaceful life for everyone and hope that no one else has to endure what we are experiencing.

My name is Nisrein Ismail, and I am a friend of Abeer, living in Italy. We became friends through online classes aimed at enhancing our online working skills. Although we cannot meet in person due to her living in Gaza, I am raising funds to help her and her family. This is the only way for them to have an income and survive.

When I receive the funds, I will send them directly to Abeer through Western Union in Rafah, so she can buy medications and basic needs for her family and start rebuilding their home.
