Help Abigail Say Goodbye to Her Dad

Our family is going through one of those times you hope no child ever has to face. A few days ago, my stepdaughter, Abigail, lost her dad. It was very sudden and unexpected, and it’s been an awful lot for her to take in. Right now, all we want is to give her the opportunity to say goodbye, to be with family, and to find some sense of peace in all of this.

We’re going to be heading from South Carolina to Indiana to make sure she can be there, but the cost of travel and taking unpaid time off work is adding up quickly. Our goal is to raise $1,500 to help with fuel, food, and the lost wages from the days I’ll need off, as this kind of event isn't covered under my company's bereavement policy.
