Help Abigail Stay in Her Viola Master's Program!
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Abigail, and I’m a viola master’s student. I’ve dedicated the majority of my life to veterinary medicine, and made the switch to pursuing music last year. My dream is to become a session musician and perform throughout southern California. However, I find myself facing an unexpected challenge that could cause me to leave my program entirely—and I need your help.
A few days ago, my car—a vital part of my daily life—was involved in a car accident and declared a total loss. As a graduate student, my budget is already stretched thin, and I rely on my car for everything: getting to rehearsals, attending classes, traveling to performances, auditions, and work. Without a reliable car, I can’t continue to pursue my studies or take part in the opportunities that are critical to my education, and daily life.
I’m at a crossroads: I need a new car, or I will be forced to leave my program, which would be devastating both personally and professionally. I’ve worked so hard to get to this point, and I truly believe in my potential as a musician. But without transportation, I can’t attend my classes, work, or performances—everything I’ve worked for could be jeopardized.
This is where you come in. I’m humbly asking for your support to help me get a new car so that I can stay in my program and continue to pursue my dreams. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a huge difference.
I am truly grateful for any support you can offer—whether it’s financial, emotional, or even just sharing this with your network. With your help, I can continue pursuing my studies and making music that inspires and brings people together.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give. It means the world to me.
With gratitude,
Abigail
