Help Abood check on his health after cancer & Survive

Hi, I’m Abdul-Samee Al-Halabi (Abood) 26 years old and I’ve witnessed several wars during my life but never suffer as i suffered in this war! Me and my family left our beautiful home in 13 October 2023 and later on was destroyed by the IDF. Currently we live in a plastic tent that can barely contains the 8 members of my family. We tried so hard to adapt into our new situation, but we faild.

Last year I had Leukemia cancer and thankfully i recovered, but I need to run several checkup to ensure my health. I used to go to Al-turkey hospital -the only hospital in the city where the treated cancers’ patients- but the IDF destroyed it and every other hospital, so I need to get out of G_za as soon as possible to run those checkups.

I’ve got married 9 months ago and never had the opportunity to enjoy my marriage or to be able to have a beautiful memories.

My wife Shimaa 25 years old graduated in accounting and she is hoping to continue her education in business administration in order to find a suitable job to help building our future.

My parents (Salwa and Hassan) 53 & 48 years ago are loving and supportive parents who lived their lives making us happy and supporting us. I see in their eyes now the disappointment and despair in this tragic situation, and I bear the responsibility of getting them out of this difficult situation.

My sister Sama 23 years old is a photographer who is willing to continue her journey outside Gaza strip and practice her hobby in peace.

My sister Aseel 21 years old graduated high school with outstanding marks as she was the first of her class with an average of 99.7%. She is currently looking for an opportunity outside Ga_za to continue her education since there is no university currently operating in the city.

Leen & Mohammed (Osha) are two lovable children who were deprived of education as a result of the bloody war, and they are currently looking forward to an opportunity to complete their studies in peace.

Our cat, lovie, whom we took when we left our home. We considered her a member of the family, but we lost her in the chaos of war.

We thought so many times of leaving G_za to a better and safe place, but there is a shortage of money since my family can’t afford the price of travel permits for 8 people, as following:

* Me

* My parents

* My wife

* My siblings (3 sisters and 1 brother)

I took the responsibility in my own hand to collect that amount of money. A travel permit for one person cost between 5k$ to 7k$, so in order to evacuate the whole family of mine we need 56k$. In addition to the expenses below:

* 8k$ Estimated cost for living expenses. (Food, shelter, electricity, clothes and any other necessities they might need).

* 15k$ living expenses and accommodation.

* 15k$ for medical treatment.

* 7k$ Leen’s & Osha’s enrollment in a decent school.

* 2,5k$ GoFundme processing fees and international transfer costs.
