Hi, I am Kate and I am fundraising to improve environmental sustainability for my art car, Abu the Horsefly. Abu is based on the classic animated movie "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind," where this insect is rescued by Princess Nausicaa, thus forging the first critical bond between humans and the surrounding nature.

My art car appears in many community events, helping to spread the joy and increase awareness of the fragile environment around us.

The batteries on the art car are charged from the solar array. The money from this campaign will help to convert the old acid batteries to lithium batteries, improving longevity, run time and decreasing waste and pollution.
