Help Ace Overcome Hip Dysplasia
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for my beloved 8-year-old German Shepherd, Ace. Ace is not just a pet; he’s a loyal companion, a family member, and a source of immense joy and comfort to everyone who knows him. Recently, Ace was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia, a debilitating condition that causes him constant pain and difficulty moving.
About Ace
Ace has been a part of our family since he was a tiny puppy. Over the years, he has shown nothing but love, loyalty, and an unbreakable spirit. Whether it's the protective love he gives to all kids, snuggling on the couch, or simply being a comforting presence. Many know him throughout our block always greeting everyone with his kisses and being a form of therapy for many. Ace has always been there for us, now, it's our turn to be there for him.
The Diagnosis
Hip dysplasia is a genetic condition in which the hip joint doesn't fit properly into the hip socket. In Ace’s case, it’s severe, causing him immense pain and limiting his mobility. The only viable solution to give him a pain-free and happy life is surgery, followed by extensive therapy and medications.
The Cost
Unfortunately, the cost of Ace’s treatment is overwhelming. The surgery, exams, and medications are estimated to cost around $7,500. In his last vet appointment, we did his blood work panel and paid for his one-time medication to help him gain some mobility. Although these medications have not helped restore his mobility. As much as we want to provide Ace with the best care possible, we cannot afford this alone.
How You Can Help
We’re humbly asking for your help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in Ace’s life. Your generosity will go directly towards:
Surgery Costs (including exams and imaging): $7,000
Medications and Supplements: $500
Every dollar counts and brings us one step closer to seeing Ace run, play, and live without pain again. If you can’t contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks would mean the world to us.
Thank You
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read Ace’s story. Your support, prayers, and contributions are deeply appreciated. Together, we can give Ace the chance to enjoy his golden years pain-free and full of happiness.
With gratitude,
Barragan family and Ace
