Thanks to everyone who helps me! I won't be able to achieve my dreams without your help. The total amount of each year is approximately $95,000. So, I just completed the first part of fundraising which was $10,000. Thanks to your generosity and fundraising at the Center Multisports André Chagnon, we were able to raise $6,342.35.

BACKGROUND
My name is Natalia Lanucha. I’m 30 years old. Sports has always been one of my most important priorities. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a professional athlete.
At the age of 7, I found out at that I had bone cancer, this news completely shattered my dreams and aspirations.
It was at the age of 23 that I learned that my handicap caused by this illness was not going to prevent me from pursuing my dream of being an athlete.
After researching, I discovered the potential of wheelchair tennis. I fell in love immediately with this sport. The fact that I cannot run, the speed of movement that a sports wheelchair offers fascinates me and gives me hope.
Since that moment things have not stopped ‘rolling’ towards new heights.
In 2018, my competition results allowed me to be selected first on the Quebec team and now, since January 2023 I am also a member of the National Team.
The last athlete on the National Team from Québec dates back to 2017. I am currently the only athlete from Quebec to be a member of the Quebec and Canada wheelchair tennis teams.
My goals are to participate in the Para PanAm in Chile in 2023 and the Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024. To achieve these goals, I must participate in a minimum of 12 international events by November 2023.
The biggest obstacle to achieving these goals is the costs associated with international travel, the training necessary to continue to develop, the equipment required to play and of course the registration fees for tennis competitions.
That’s why I’m asking for your help in making my dreams a reality. Any donation, large or small, will be greatly appreciated and used to help me achieve my goals.
On September 23-24 2023, Multisport Vaudreuil will be hosting a Tennis Fundraising Weekend on my behalf.

Merci à tous ceux qui m'aident ! Je ne pourrai pas réaliser mes rêves, sans votre aide. Le montant total pour chaque année est d’environ 95 000 $. Ainsi, je viens de compléter la première partie de ramassage de fond qui a été 10 000$. Grâce à votre générosité et la levée du fond au Centre Multisports André Chagnon, nous avons pu amasser 6342.35 $.
Svp, continuez à partager en grand nombre. Pour rejoindre l’équipe paralympique, je dois voyager en Europe et m’entrainer beaucoup. J’ai donc besoin encore de votre aide pour pouvoir payer mes billets et le séjour. Je suis très reconnaissante de toute votre aide ! Merci !

Biographie
Je m'appelle Natalia Lanucha, j'ai 30 ans. Le sport a toujours été une de mes plus importantes priorités. Depuis l’enfance, je voulais devenir une athlète professionnelle.
Quand j’ai appris à l’âge de 7 ans que j’avais un cancer des os, cette nouvelle a complètement bouleversé mes rêves, mes aspirations.
C’est à l’âge de 23 ans que j’ai compris que le handicap causé par cette maladie ne m’empêcherait pas de poursuivre mon rêve d’être une athlète.
Après recherches, j’ai vu la possibilité du tennis en fauteuil roulant. Je suis tout de suite tombée amoureuse de ce sport. Le fait de ne pas pouvoir courir, la vitesse de déplacement qu’un fauteuil roulant sportif offre me fascine et me donne espoir.
Depuis ce moment les choses n’arrêtent pas de "rouler" vers de nouveaux sommets.
Mes résultats en compétion m’ont permis d’être sélectionnée en premier lieu sur l’équipe du Québec depuis 2018, et maintenant, depuis janvier 2023, je suis également membre de l’équipe nationale.
Le dernier athlète sur l’équipe nationale venant du Québec remonte à 2017. Je suis la seule athlète du Québec présentement à être membre des équipes du Québec et du Canada de tennis en fauteuil roulant. Mes objectifs sont de participer aux Para PanAm au Chili en 2023 et aux Jeux Paralympiques à Paris en 2024.
Pour atteindre ces objectifs, je dois participer à un minimum de 12 événements internationaux d'ici novembre 2023.
Le plus grand obstacle à la réalisation de ces objectifs sont les coûts associés aux voyages internationaux, à l'entraînement nécessaire pour continuer à me développer, à l'équipement requis pour jouer et bien sûr aux frais d'inscription aux compétitions de tennis.
C'est pourquoi je fais appel à votre générosité pour m'aider à réaliser mes rêves. Tout don, petit ou grand, sera grandement apprécié et utilisé pour m'aider à atteindre mes objectifs.
