Our Store Was Violently Robbed – We’re Asking for Community Support

At around 4 AM this morning, a stolen car smashed through the front of our store. The impact left our entrance in ruins, and in just a few short moments, the thieves grabbed everything they could before fleeing. This kind of attack has been hitting camera stores across Northern California, and now, heartbreakingly, it has happened to us.

We’ve only been in this location for under a year. We were still settling in, working hard to create a space where photographers of all levels could come together, learn, and find the tools they need. Now, we’re facing a huge setback—structural damage, stolen inventory, and the challenge of securing our store so this doesn’t happen again.

Why We’re Asking for Help

We’re a small, independent business, and while insurance will help, it won’t cover everything. Repairing our storefront, replacing what was taken, and upgrading our security so this doesn’t happen again is a massive financial burden. More than that, it’s an emotional hit. We’ve always been more than just a retail store—we’re a community hub. We teach classes, host events, and create a space where photographers can grow. Now, we need our community’s help to make sure we can keep doing that.
