Help Ada Walk Again: Support Her MRI and Care

My boyfriend’s mom adopted Ada only a month ago and she has been a great joy for her and her family. She started having seizures a week after her adoption and was diagnosed with epilepsy. She will have to take medication for the rest of her life. Until yesterday morning, she was able to run, jump, and play like any other dog in between her seizures. But while on her morning walk, she unexpectedly fell over and lost the use of her back legs. After rushing her to the emergency room, we were informed that she is likely suffering from a spinal cord injury or a slipped disc that may get better or worse with time. The only way to know for sure is to get her an MRI, which alone will cost $5,500. If she ends up needing surgery, it would be even more.

The money raised in this fundraiser will go towards Ada getting the diagnosis and treatment she needs in order to have a chance at walking again. Any little bit will help tremendously. She’s only 5 years old. Please help us get Ada’s quality of life back ❤️

Update:

Unfortunately after 3 weeks Ada still can’t use her back legs. We’ve decided to purchase a wheelchair and build a ramp at her house so she can move around easier. She does physical therapy exercises every day to stimulate feelings in her paws. Despite all this, she’s still a very happy pup. Will upload pictures of the ramp soon.
