Dear friends,
For those of you who haven’t yet heard the news, Adam was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare and, as of yet, incurable and inoperable form of cancer known as Cholangiocarcinoma. It is as scary as it is hard to pronounce, but basically it infects his body’s bile ducts and spreads from there.
Adam has decided to fight for his life, as expectancy is uncertain. He has already begun chemotherapy treatments and is having frequent visits to the hospital. But it will be a very long and tough fight ahead.
It had already been a very rough year for Adam, who recently lost his father after a battle with Lewy Body dementia. Since having to sell the family home, Adam hasn’t had a stable place to live, and his diagnosis has rendered him unable to work.
If you know Adam, if you’ve bellied up to his bar, if you’ve had him serve you a gourmet meal, or been on the receiving end of a joke that gave you a belly laugh, you know how much joy he gets from taking care of others. Let’s give back to help Adam fight this courageous battle.
