Help Adam Yocom During His Cancer Battle

Hi, My name is Edie and I am the office administrator of the Louisville TQL office. We have an Enterprise employee, Adam, who is working from home temporarily as he is on his journey to beat Lymphocyte predominant Hodgkins Lymphoma and adrenal insufficiency. Please help us raise some funds for Adam as he is in this fight!

Adam had his first chemo treatment in August and has many more to come.

He sent me this message when I asked if he didn't mind sharing what cancer he was fighting : "Its called Lymphocyte predominant Hodgkins Lymphoma. I also have something called adrenal insufficiency. Addison's disease, also called adrenal insufficiency, is an uncommon disorder that occurs when your body doesn't produce enough of certain hormones. In Addison's disease, your adrenal glands, located just above your kidneys, produce too little cortisol and, often, too little aldosterone. The adrenal insufficiency is what almost took my life. I had no idea I had it. I had a crash and was admitted to the ICU in April with a blood pressure of 50/30 and about an hour away from death. It was very scary but I didn’t even really know what was going on. I went into septic shock and……well, it was just bad. From there that’s where the cancer journey started. They found a mass and finally after a few months of biopsies and a surgery, we are here now and I am getting chemo."
