Help Ada-Marie

Hi, We are Demi & Leon and we are fundraising for our little girls medical treatment.

We are planning on fundraising for our little ada-Marie’s plagiocephaly treatment as the NHS can not provide what she needs, Ada-marie was born extremely premature at 30 weeks, she had a very touch and go first couple of weeks.. Day 4 we found out she had meningitis, later found more infections and then on day 20 she was diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome. prader-Willi is rare, as far as we have been told there are only 4 other people in Fife with Ada-Marie’s condition. Despite all that, she has absolutely amazed every single one of us. Things we were told she would never do, she’s done, part of her condition is hypotonia (weak muscle tone) and because of this during adas 93 day stay with the amazing nurses in NICU she picked a preferred side to lay on and she developed plagiocephaly, Plagiocephaly is a disorder that affects the skull, making the back or side of a baby's head appear flattened. Physio have said that all they can offer is advice on positioning, but due to how flat the side of her head has become she physically can’t lay the way they want her too for long. The nhs don’t offer this treatment because of how expensive it can be, so far we’ve been told that £2000 is around a staring price.
