Help Adri and James Rebuild After Smoke Damage

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friends, Adri Cowan and James Grant, from Altadena, who are going through an incredibly challenging time. Recently, their home suffered significant smoke damage, leaving it uninhabitable. It’s heartbreaking to see them unable to return to their space—a place filled with cherished memories, comfort, and love—until extensive repairs and restoration are completed.

The recovery process will take several months, and during this time, they’re facing unexpected costs like temporary housing, replacing essential items, and the many other unforeseen expenses that come with rebuilding their lives after such an event.

Through all of this, Adri and James have shown incredible kindness and resilience. Even amidst their own trials and tribulations, they extended compassion to me when I needed it most. Having only been in LA for a month and with nowhere to go during the fires, they welcomed me with open arms and made me feel supported in ways I will never forget. I would be lost without their friendship.

Adri and James are two of the most generous and loving people I know, as they have been donating and helping their community while navigating their own personal loss. Now it’s time for us to rally around them and give back.
