Help Adrian McFarland recover from infection

Adrian McFarland, a community activist and library employee in Columbus, Ohio,  was recently admitted to the hospital due to an infection that required emergency surgery. He is on the mend, but will continue to be out of work, and will face steep medical bills. He has already gone two weeks without receiving his unemployment check, and it is unclear when that relief will come. Please chip in whatever you can to help my friend make a full recovery without suffering from financial stress. Proceeds will go directly to Adrian.
