- Hello my friends, I am Afnan Mahmoud. I am 29 years old and I live in the besieged Gaza Strip, specifically in the city of Rafah. I live with my physically disabled husband and my two children. I was forcibly displaced from my city several times during a brutal war that destroyed everything for us. I lost everything I owned, my house, my possessions, all my things, and my husband is now unemployed. I live in tents, and suffer from a lack of clean water, healthy food, milk and Pampers for my little girl, a lack of medicine, and high prices.
