We're facing an unimaginable tragedy after a devastating fire on January 3, 2024, in Garland, TX, claimed the life of my sister, Tonya Brooks. Jordan, her spouse, suffered severe burns, and Zander, Tonya's stepson, is grappling with the loss of his primary caregiver.

The apartment and all their belongings were lost in the fire. Jordan and Zander are staying on our couch until Jordan has physically recovered and we're able to find them another place to live.
