Help Age get by with a little help from her Friends

Age Clancy started having symptoms in 2015, she was working and going to lots of doctors with no real reason to feel so ill. In 2017, she was forced on an FMLA by her employer, which eventually led to her having to leave her position. Age quickly started a new job, and was struggling daily due to the setbacks caused by being so ill.

In 2019, Age received her first official diagnosis, although she was unwell, she continued to work and push through. In March of 2020, Age contracted covid, and never recovered. She was able to work from home during this period, but when she was unable to return to the office in July of 2020, she was fired. This was because even with a doctor's note, her job was unable to accommodate her.

Less then 3 weeks after getting fired she started to experience new symptoms, which led to needing her gallbladder removed. Due to covid it took months to actually receive the surgery. By the time she had the surgery, she was unable to eat and had lost 60 pounds. After the surgery, she was extremely sick and kept getting told it was her body's adjustment to not having a gallbladder. Age has been unwell ever since and has recently received more serious lifelong, life changing diagnoses.

Jake is her fulltime caregiver, while still working full time. He also has to miss work when dealing with her illness, doctors, or the days he simply cannot leave her alone. Age has insurance but there are still large amounts of bills she is responsible for since now she is not only dealing with her regular doctors, but a lot of specialists, who offer no financial assistance and keep requesting endless tests and expensive procedures.

We are looking for help, to make sure Age can stay in her home, catch up on her bills, help with the burden of doctor's bills that are piling up, medications, continuing medical appointments and other medical needs. If you know Age, you know what an insanely private person she is. Age has literally suffered in silence because she never wanted anyone to know how sick, she actually is.

Sometimes, you get by with a little help from your friends. So any help you are able to provide would be amazing, just like Age.
