Help Ahed's Family Evacuate
Donation protected
The story of Ahed Bseiso, who underwent an emergency amputation of her leg using a kitchen knife without anesthesia by her uncle following an Israeli airstrike that destroyed her family's home and caused the building to collapse on her, has reached many. In addition to losing her leg, Ahed suffered severe injuries to her other leg, which was crushed under the debris, resulting in fractures. For the past six years, Ahed has been separated from her father, Taha, who has been working in Belgium to support his family. The devastating news of his daughter's injuries caused Taha such distress that he was hospitalized after suffering a stroke. Ahed is currently receiving medical treatment in the United States, with her sister Mona by her side. However, their mother and two other siblings remain in North Gaza, facing dire conditions with no access to food. We aim to support the Bseiso family by raising funds to help them leave Gaza and safely reunite with their family in Belgium.
