Help Ahlam's Family Rebuild Their Lives

Hi Friends,
My name is Bryce Bohne. (My personal bio is below)
One of the friendships that I have maintained for the past 5 years is with Ahlam Badr and her family. Ahlam is a resilient and kind-hearted Social Worker who lived and worked in Gaza City before the IOF destroyed her entire neighborhood (including the apartment building she was living in) this past October. She escaped the bombing by fleeing 20 miles south to a UN school in Khan Yunis with only the items she could carry by hand!
She and her 2 young children, Omar and Bilal, have sought refuge in multiple locations these past 8 months and have endured unimaginable horrors.
And now, along with the majority of the civilian population in Gaza, she's living in a tent in Rafah. Israel designated Rafah as the last "Safe Zone" but recently Israel has also begun to fire-bomb the UN refugee camps killing hundreds of civilians that are trapped in Gaza. To make life even more difficult, despite the fact that there are no more fully-functional hospitals left in Gaza, Ahlam was expecting a child during this whole ordeal and eventually gave birth to her 3rd child inside a tent-clinic on April 10th -- a baby boy named Yosef (Joseph in English). This past month Yosef has been suffering from a high fever and malnutrition along with the other 2 boys.
Every major humanitarian organization and the international courts have said that Gaza is suffering from intentional starvation and other war crimes. A significant percentage of the population has been killed, including her brother and other friends and relatives. She fears others that are missing were buried under the rubble or taken hostage by the IOF. The vast majority of the victims (over 70%) are women and children. And the situation has become even worse because the US has cut off UNRWA funding to the Palestinians, and Israel is not allowing food and medicine to enter the Gaza Strip.
Ahlam has asked me to HELP GIVE HER FAMILY HOPE during this dark time.
Her IMMEDIATE LIFE-SAVING NEEDS are to raise $2,000 to buy food, medicine, diapers, baby milk, a few miscellaneous cooking/clothing items, and a new tent with zippers to keeps the insects out.
She also hopes to provide a safe life for her children by seeking refuge in Egypt, which will cost between 10,000-20,000 USD for a family of 4.
She will move to safety and begin to rebuild her life there as soon as she gathers enough money to pay the exit fee.
Although we will never experience the desperation that Ahlam's family now faces, we can at least stand with her in solidarity, and be generous with our prayers and financial support for her, and for all people all over the world that are suffering in conflict zones.
If you are an average working American, this year approximately $320 of your tax dollars were used to buy bombs/weapons for Israel. If you can give half or even 10% of that amount to this cause we will be able to save the lives of my friend Ahlam and her family!
