Help Ahmed to live and to fulfill his dreams
Donation protected
My name is Haya Abu Nasser, and I’m reaching out to you with a plea fueled by love and desperation. As I pursue my master’s degree in international relations here in Malaysia, my heart is heavy with worry for my younger brother, Ahmed. We’ve been inseparable for as long as I can remember, bound by a bond that goes beyond mere siblinghood. He’s not just my brother; he’s my confidant, my dream partner, and the light in my darkest moments. His infectious laughter and unwavering optimism have carried us through life’s trials, even amidst the horrors of war in Gaza.
I managed to escape Gaza last month, thanks to the unwavering support of kind souls who believed in my dreams. However, my brother remains trapped in a nightmare, his health declining with each passing day. He’s suffering from asthma, malnutrition, and recently contracted hepatitis. Living in a tent, he’s under severe threat due to the lack of healthcare in Gaza. His dreams of completing his education are slipping further away. He deserves better than the suffering he’s endured. He deserves the chance to heal, thrive, and pursue his dreams with the same fervor that once lit up his eyes.
Ahmad has only two courses left to complete his bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering. Because of an agreement between Al-Azhar University (now destroyed) and the Egyptian government, once in Egypt, Ahmad will be able to enroll at a local university to complete his undergraduate education. The money raised through this campaign will cover the costs of his crossing, university tuition, and living expenses while he takes these classes.
With your help, we will secure his safe passage out of Gaza, away from the horrors of war and into a future filled with promise. Our cousin in Egypt will receive the funds on Ahmad's behalf and help facilitate his travel. Please, join me in this urgent mission to rescue my brother. Together, we can rewrite his story from despair to triumph. Your donation, no matter how small, is a beacon of light in our darkest hour.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Haya Abu Nasser
