Seeking your help to save Ahmad's family in Gaza

My name is Semah from Chicago, Illinois, USA. I am creating this campaign for my friend Ahmad and his family in Gaza. They will use this money to pay for food and basic necessities that will help them survive as the bombardment continues unmercifully. It is hoped that the devastating bombing and blockade ends asap and the family can use the funds to rebuild their home and their lives.

Message from Ahmad:

Hello to all people around the world, this speech is directed to every person who has humanity. I am Ahmed, I love life, I want peace and security to prevail all over the world.

A university student, 20 years old, I live in the middle of the Gaza Strip in Palestine. I was studying computer science, the field that I love. I was excited to make an impact in this world. I had beautiful plans for a beautiful world.

But since fourteen months of war, I began to lose everything gradually.

I lost my home. Also my family had a restaurant that sold traditional food. It was completely destroyed, leaving my family without a source of income. Then my university was destroyed, and I became desperate after everything I saw and what happened to my family. Today, I am here, a young man in my twenties. I live with my family in a tent. I built the tent on the rubble of our destroyed home. I am just trying to provide food and drink for my family. My life has become like a nightmare here.

This is what I went through in brief. I don't have the energy to tell you what I went through. I cannot explain what I witnessed during the war. We escaped death several times. Today I am writing this, asking everyone to help me so that I can compensate my family for everything they lost and so we can survive. I believe that my family deserves the best.
