Help Ahmed and His Family Escape Death in Gaza

Let me introduce Ahmed from Gaza, who is 24 years old. Before the events of October 7, Ahmed was a teacher for children at a school in Gaza. He led a fulfilling life until the tragic events that have affected the Palestinian people began. Since then, Ahmed has lost his job, his home, and tragically, several family members. He also suffered a severe injury to his arm, requiring surgery to salvage what was possible.

Over the past six months, Ahmed and his surviving family members have had to escape the horrors of war repeatedly. They now live in a tent in Rafah, located at the southern end of Gaza. They endure harsh conditions with no electricity, water, or basic necessities, and they constantly hear the sounds of bombing. With news agencies reporting possible new military actions in Rafah, Ahmed and his family are trapped with nowhere else to go but to leave Gaza—a move that carries a steep cost.

Crossing into Egypt requires a fee of five thousand dollars per person just for passage, plus additional funds to establish themselves once across. Each family member needs six and a half thousand dollars to cover these expenses.

اعرفكم على احمد من غزة عمره 24 سنة.

قبل السابع من أكتوبر، كان أحمد يعمل معلمًا للأطفال بأحد مدارس القطاع، لقد كان لديه حياة جميلة ومرضية، ولكن منذ بدأ الإبادة الجماعية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني، خسر أحمد وظيفيته ومنزله، بل أمتدت الخسارة إلى فقدان عدد من أفراد عائلته، فضلًا عن تعرضه إلى إصابة خطيرة في ذراعه وأضطر للخضوع إلى عملية جراحية لإنقاذ ما يمكن أنقاذه.

أضطر أحمد وما تبقى من أسرته للنزوح والهروب من بطش الحرب أكثر من مرة خلال الأشهر الست الماضية، وحاليًا يعيش مع ووالده ووالدته وثلاثة من أخوته وأخواته وأطفالهم في خمية بمدينة رفح أقصى جنوب القطاع، بلا كهرباء، بلا ماء، بلا مأوى، بلا دواء، بلا علاج. الأصوات المزعجة المستمرة للقصف والحصار. وبينما تتناقل وكالات الأنباء أخبارًا عن عملية عسكرية وشيكة في رفح، لم يعد لأحمد وعائلته مكان أخر للنزوح إليه، ولا مفر غير الخروج من القطاع أو مواجهة الموت المحتم.

الخروج من القطاع والعبور إلى مصر مكلف للغاية، ويحتاج إلى دفع رسوم قدرها خمسة آلاف دولار لكل فقط، لعبور الخط الفاصل بين مصر وفلسطين، فضلًا عن مبلغ من المال للإستقرار على الجانب الأخر.

المبغ الذي يحتاجه كل فرد من عائلة أحمد هو ستة آلاف دولار ونصف ( خمسة للخروج وألف ونصف للمساعدة في الإستقرار).
