Help Ahmed Evacuate His Family from Gaza

Hi my name is Alaa Alhayek I'm fundraising for my cousin Ahmad Alhayek and that's his story :

HI my name is Ahmed Alhayek , a 29-year-old man born and raised in Gaza. Less than a month ago, my wife and I, along with our twin daughters, experienced the unimaginable. The twins were born prematurely amid the chaos of war, forcing them into the neonatal intensive care unit due to their early arrival, a month ahead of schedule. The conditions in the hospital were catastrophic, as the NICU, intended for isolation, became a makeshift treatment space for both wounded and newborns.

Realizing the urgency of the situation, I knew I had to find a way out of Gaza to ensure the survival of my daughters. The hospital's dire circumstances compelled me to seek better medical facilities elsewhere. I did everything in my power to secure the funds needed for our evacuation to Egypt, burdened by debt and desperate for a solution. Today, my wife and I are in Egypt, but our daughters did not make it. They passed away due to the deplorable conditions in the hospital before our scheduled departure.

With a heavy heart, I appeal to you for help to save what remains of my family in Gaza – my parents, my brother, his wife, and their children. I cannot bear the thought of losing more loved ones and desperately need my family by my side during this ordeal. Their struggles are beyond words, living in fear, hunger, and makeshift tents.

In addition, my father suffers from diabetes and is experiencing a shortage of medication, which is significantly affecting his health.

The required amount to evacuate my family is €30,000, distributed as follows:

€23,000 for the services of Hala Company to coordinate the exit from Gaza to Egypt for six individuals (four adults at €4,600 each and two children at €2,300 each)The remaining €7,000 to cover rent, living expenses, and resettlement for my family, as well as my brother's family, for several months. This also includes fees for the GoFundMe campaign,
