Help Ahmed & his family in Gaza

I am raising funds (from London UK) on behalf of Ahmed Omar Mahmoude Al Sikaly, and his family, who have been made refugees in Rafah and are struggling to access basic essentials. Ahmed's brief story and reason for the fundraiser are explained below.

Unfortunately, as we know, conditions remain very difficult for all of those still trapped in Gaza. Access to food and basic necessities is extremely difficult and expensive. Ahmed and his family want to try to leave Gaza to seek refuge in Egypt. The exit fees are very high: The cost per person is $6,500, coordinated by a certified company (Ya Hala), headquartered in Egypt.

Here is Ahmed's own message:

"Hello, I am Ahmed from the Gaza Strip. My house was destroyed on the ninth of October at the beginning of the war. We were displaced 7 times since, and now we are in Rafah. I do not have money to buy food for my family, nor pay for medical treatment, such as my grandmother's blood pressure, diabetes, and heart problems. We are hungry in a real famine.

I studied law, graduated in 2017, and got married to my wife, Dareen, on August 28, 2023, just a few weeks before the war on Gaza began. I requested loans from the bank so that we could build our dream house, but now all of this has ended. On October 9, 2023, the occupation demolished everything.

Traveling to Egypt now is the only resort to leave the besieged Gaza Strip. The war is still in its beginning. We do not know when it will end. Will it end, or end on us?

Any contributions will be welcome. We do not have food, drink, or anything. We are sleeping on the street now in Rafah. There are no clothes or anything. Please be with me and help me. "
