Help Ahmed Rebuild His Life and Business

My name is Erin, and I reside in San Francisco Bay Area, California. I am reaching out to you today to help my dear friend, Ahmed Rady, who lives in Khan Yunis, Gaza. Here is his story and message:

Hello everyone,

‏My name is Ahmed Radi Abu Raida, I am from Palestine, I live in Gaza.

‏I can't believe what happened to me and my family, everything has been destroyed, and I don't know if it's still possible to think about my ambition, my goals and my favorite university. War ruined everything even my studies. I did everything to become successful.

‏Honestly, I'm no longer interested in studying or in my goals, because and each member of my family I only think about being safe and get rid of this crazy war, and how to get out of this miserable life.

‏Recent months have been full of death, fear and displacement, and they have been like a nightmare that has destroyed our hope, memories and our homes. We never expected to reach this difficult time. We love our country; we love our lives, but life forms are gone.

‏There are 7 members in my family. We used to get together in our beautiful house and enjoy every moment. Each of us has done our best and tried hard to reach our goals and help each other, building our future little by little and step by step. We intended to see our brother emerge, but the dream disappeared.

‏Everything changed at the beginning of October 7th. After two weeks of war, we were forced to leave the house, fleeing the incredible random rockets. We left our house carrying our few clothes and personal things and took refuge in Rafah, the southern Gaza Strip.

‏My wonderful family and my mother who do not hesitate to support us psychologically, and to be there when I need them. It always creates strength from weakness and cooks for us from the rare food available, it always brings us together even in the most difficult times. In addition, my talented father, who has special experiences, spent his life making our lives go well, but unfortunately, he lost everything in this war, he lost his job, and his shop that he worked on for many years that was providing a lot to society in our area of all needs, he is now in the most difficult circumstances, he is in great sadness and pain, he is watching us quietly and silently. It's not easy for us to see in this case.

‏Moreover, I have a brother named Weam who is in high school, loves video montage, and is a member of a team to help people in need in this war. He has a deep love and ambition to be the owner of a goal in his life.

‏Every day and in every moment we hope that the war, genocide, repression and abuse will end. But fear still rules the situation and comes out of our hands, it is getting worse. So I have to do anything just to get out of here and protect my family, but we can't do it and leave, we have nothing left to go abroad.

‏It was not easy to ask for help at all, but we have no other option, so from the bottom of my heart, I ask you to help us as much as possible in this urgent and dangerous circumstance. We would be very grateful if you help us get out of this miserable life because with your help we can register for all my family members and go out together without worrying if anyone stays in Gaza. We ask that you share this fundraising campaign with anyone you know to reach more people before it ends. We've seen the importance of sharing it with friends and families even with someone you don't know, ask them to do a favor, if you can't share yourself.
